Registration Fees

The registration options below have been specifically developed to support New York bar associations bringing significant numbers of staff to the NABE annual meeting. Fees are the same regardless of the staff person’s membership status in NABE. Only individuals with confirmed permission of NABE staff may use the options on this page. Full Registration Package

Full registration package includes NABE badge; Welcome Reception on Tuesday; breakfast, lunch, and reception on Wednesday; lunch on Thursday; beverage breaks throughout the meeting; all conference materials; and attendance at substantive programming.

  • $390 through July 7, 2017
  • $435 July 8, 2017, through July 21, 2017
  • $5 guest registration for guest of a paid New York staff registrant (includes guest badge and ability to purchase optional food events; does not allow attendance at substantive programming)

Cafeteria Registration

Understanding that some individuals may not be available for the entire meeting, “cafeteria” registration allows individuals to tailor their own package based upon their individual needs. Includes badge; beverage breaks throughout the meeting; all conference materials; attendance at substantive programming; and ability to purchase food events on an a la carte basis.

Venue and Accommodations

The headquarters hotel for the NABE 2017 Annual Meeting is the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, 811 7th Ave, New York, New York 10019. All NABE business meetings, programming, and events take place at the Sheraton unless otherwise noted in the forthcoming program/agenda. Individuals registering through this page must secure housing on their own at the Sheraton or other area hotel. Individuals registering through this page are not eligible for ABA Annual Meeting housing discounts.

Meeting Program

The 2017 NABE Annual Meeting will begin on Tuesday afternoon, August 8, 2017 and end after lunch on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Click here to view an agenda and program preview.

Registration Policies

NABE Membership: Membership in NABE is not required.

Registration: Individuals registering under this option will not receive food event tickets with their printed badges. NABE staff with registration lists at the door of each food event will confirm registration or food event purchases. This registration option is for individuals who are registering for the NABE Annual Meeting and NABE events only. Individuals who want to register for the NABE Joint meeting with NCBP and NCBF and related food events must register through ABA registration and pay fees as posted. This online registration option will close on July 21. After July 21, additional registrations may be accepted to the degree additional registrants can be accommodated. Names of late registrants will not be included on the list of attendees available to registrants before the meeting. Contact Nora Warens at nora.warens@americanbar.org for possible registration after July 21.

Cancellations: All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to Nora Warens at nora.warens@americanbar.org. A full refund for the Full Registration Package, Cafeteria Registration option (plus any food events), or guest registrations will be granted for cancellations received by July 7. From July 8 – July 21, the Full Registration Package will be assessed a cancellation fee of $20 and the Cafeteria Registration and guest registrations will be forfeited, but food event purchases will be fully refunded through July 21. From July 22 – July 28, 50% of Full Package fees and food event purchases will be refunded. Starting July 29, cancellations and no-shows forfeit all fees and food event purchases.
