NABE Committees perform the administrative work of the
association. Members are appointed by the president prior to the
Annual Meeting. Committees meet by conference and at the Midyear
and Annual meetings. If you are interested in serving on a committee,

Bylaws
Exercises parliamentary jurisdiction, answers questions pertaining
to interpretations of the bylaws and prepares additions, deletions,
and amendments whenever appropriate.
Chief Staff Executive
Serves executive directors through networking and programming, and
plans the annual CSE Retreat and New Bar Executive Institute.
Diversity
Assists local and state bar leaders in gathering information, resources
and skills needed to address and manage a broad range of minority
involvement issues.
Membership
Coordinates membership recruitment, mentoring and retention activities,
including planning the First-Time Attendees activities at the Midyear
and Annual meetings.
Program
Plans, coordinates, and implements the educational program and social
functions at Annual and Midyear Meetings of NABE. This committee
is by appointment only.
Scholarship
Prepares scholarship applications and distributes these to NABE
members. Reviews and decides to whom scholarships shall be awarded.
Sponsorship
Contacts and identifies potential sponsors. Requests monetary contributions
to help defray Midyear and Annual Meeting expenses.
Surveys
Prepares, analyzes, and distributes a compensation survey every
other year. Reviews, approves and coordinates other surveys devised
by NABE committees or sections before dissemination.
Web site
Oversees and helps to maintain content for the NABE website.
