Small Bar Policies

As the old saying goes, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Even in a smaller organization, it is important to have governance and human resources policies in place before we need them. We don’t want to hastily scramble for a conflict of interest policy as a board member seeks to award the newsletter printing contract to his brother-in-law. During this session, we’ll run through the elements of a good policy and review a checklist of those you should have in place. We’ll also look at ways to ensure that they are up to date. This session will be interactive and there will be plenty of time for questions, so bring ‘em on. Join us on Monday, September 23, at 2PM Eastern/1PM Central, where Elizabeth Derrico will lead the discussion. Register now!
