Join A NABEnetwork CommunityBuild your network and connect with your peers on the NABEnetwork – online communities for bar association professionals! Through these dynamic electronic communities you can participate in discussions, learn from others, share your expertise and access valuable resources. Online communities are accessible on the cloud anytime and optimized for use on any device. Communities feature discussions, resource libraries, directories, event calendars and more. Most community types are open access, meaning that any NABE member in good standing may join and participate, however some require specific permissions to join. Discussion Groups include the following topic-focused communities available for any NABE member to join, share ideas and learn: Bar Member Services, CLE, Data & Evaluation, Diversity & Inclusion, Governance, Health & Wellness, Human Resources, Information Technology, Law Practice Management, Meetings Seminars & Events, Membership, New Bar Professionals, Public Outreach, Retired Members, Sections and Committees, Senior Staff Bar Executives, Small Bar Associations, State & Local Specialty Bars, Young Lawyer Liaisons. The AED and Chief Executives communities are also included in Discussion Groups; however, you must be an Executive Director or Associate Executive Director to participate in these communities. Section communities are an excellent resource used by Section members to network and stay updated on the latest trends and new ideas of interest to communications, administration & finance and government relations professionals. These communities include the following: Communications, Government Relations, and Operations & Member Services. You must be a dues paying Section member to be added to these communities. Committee communities are a great tool used by NABE committees to communicate with committee members and share ideas regarding their work to move the association forward. Committee members are appointed by the NABE president and you must be a committee member to participate in these communities. Committee communities include: Audit, Awards, Bylaws, Chief Executives, Digital Engagement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Elections, Finance and Investment, Membership, Nominating, Professional Development, Scholarship, Sponsorship, and Compensation & Benefits Survey.
The NABE Board of Directors uses this community to conduct the business of the association. To participate in this community you must be a member of the NABE Board of Directors.
