Reminder of Proposed NABE Bylaws Amendments
NABE members will vote on proposed amendments to the bylaws at the upcoming NABE Luncheon and Business Meeting on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m., East Ballroom C, East Convention Level, Vancouver Convention Centre, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  The amendments, if approved, will provide for (1.) a nomination process, with a nominating committee developing a slate for consideration by the membership; (2.) additional nominations by petition for challenges to the slate; and (3.) in cases where nomination(s) by petition exist, direct vote by the membership. If approved, the new process would be in place for determining open director seats and officer positions effective July 1, 2019 (meaning that there will still be an election this year).
