NABE Board Announces Award Winners

At its spring meeting, the NABE Board of Directors selected the following individuals and bars to be honored by NABE:

  • 2018 Bolton Award: Elizabeth Derrico, Former Associate
    Executive Director, New York State Bar Association
  • 2018 Peer Excellence Award: Tim Eigo, Editor, Arizona Attorney, State Bar of Arizona
  • 2018 LexisNexis Community & Educational Outreach Award, Local Bar with Membership of 2,001 – 4,999: Wake County Bar Awards (legal services fundraiser/gala), Wake County (NC) Bar
    Association
  • 2018 LexisNexis Community & Educational Outreach Award, Local Bar with Membership of 5,000 or more: St. Louis Attorneys Against Hunger, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis

Recipients of the LexisNexis Community & Educational Outreach Awards for state bars will be announced in early June.  All award recipients will be profiled in the June issue of NABE News.  The Peer Excellence Award and the LexisNexis Awards will be presented on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the NABE Membership Luncheon and Business Meeting, and the Bolton Award will be presented at the NCBP/NABE/NCBF Joint Luncheon on Friday, August 3, 2018; both events will take place at the Annual Meeting in Chicago. NABE congratulates the award winners and thanks all those who submitted nominations.
