The Deadline to Apply for CSE Scholarships is January 18!
The NABE Scholarship Committee is proud to offer 3 scholarships available to Executive Directors only for attendance at the 2019 CSE Retreat (including the Small Bar Track). The scholarship includes a waiver of the 2019 CSE Retreat registration fee, and up to $750 in reimbursement to cover the cost of travel expenses. Please follow this link for scholarship guidelines and to apply no later than January 18, 2019.

Register for the 2019 CSE Retreat Featuring Small Bar Track and the New Executive Director Bootcamp in March!
The Chief Staff Executives Retreat is scheduled for March 12-13, 2019, and will be held once again at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. The CSE Retreat is a great opportunity for chief staff executives of bars of all sizes to gather in advance of the BLI to discuss personal development, human resource issues, and volunteer and management relationships. This year’s CSE Retreat will be held as a collaborative event in conjunction with the Small Bar Conference and will include a track geared toward the needs of small associations. NABE will also host a Boot Camp for New Executive Directors on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, 12-4 pm, immediately preceding the CSE Retreat. Nominations Open for E. Smythe Gambrell Professionalism Awards
The Standing Committee on Professionalism is accepting nominations for its 2019 E. Smythe Gambrell Awards. The awards recognize the nation’s innovative, exemplary and on-going projects/programs of law schools, bar associations, law firms, state courts, and other law-related organizations which contribute to the understanding and advancement of professionalism among lawyers and law students. Each year up to three professionalism programs are honored by the Standing Committee on Professionalism with the Gambrell Award and a check for $3,500 each. Applications are due by March 31, 2019.
