A Message from Julie Armstrong on NABE COVID-19 Response, Resources for Members
On Monday evening, the NABE Board and staff made the difficult decision to cancel the CSE Retreat and New Executive Director Bootcamp scheduled for this week in conjunction with ABA’s Bar Leadership Institute. Although we understand that the cancellation caused disruption, the health and safety of our members was of paramount importance. As you are aware, available information and circumstances are rapidly changing, and like you, we’re doing our best to anticipate the unknown. In response, we are also working to organize recurring teleconference updates for information sharing among our members related to COVID-19. Watch your email for more on this in the next few days. We are committed to maintaining the vitality of our connections with one another, be they virtual or otherwise. I am more grateful than ever to have this community that helps us to be more knowledgeable and prepared for the challenges we face. Please take advantage of the resources that we have to offer. Your support is most appreciated.

Weekly Roundtables to be Held to Exchange Ideas and Issues at Bars During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Given the extraordinary daily challenges bar professionals are facing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, NABE will be convening a weekly call to discuss all issues that are impacting bars. Join your colleagues to hear how bars are addressing business operations, contract issues, communications and employee issues, or just to be with your NABE community during these difficult times. Calls are open to all bar staff, regardless of membership in NABE. The first session will be next Tuesday, March 17, at 10:30 AM Central. Join us by clicking on this link.
