Planning Your Digital Path*
"Law firms are drowning in paper. Members of the legal profession generate a lot of physical documents and accumulate even more. While many might argue, and rightfully so, that a totally digital law firm is wishful thinking, it is certainly possible to be less reliant on paper," said writer JoAnn L. Hathaway in an article for the Michigan Bar Journal. She provides a "road map" for law firms looking to make a difference by going digital.

Unplugged But Not Unbillable
Top 50 Biglaw firm Sheppard Mullin just launched a brand new firm-wide wellness initiative that gives attorneys 40 hours to "unplug and recharge" each year. The best part of the new initiative is that the 40 hours are credited as part of the attorney's billable hours, and the firm encourages attorneys to use all of them.
