It’s not surprising, then, that with technology making work accessible 24/7, people often use their weekends to catch up on work.”  Here, the Legal Marketing Association offers “5 Tips for Unplugging and Prioritizing Your Well-Being.”

Law Firm DEI+B?
Bloomberg Law’s analysts recently did a deep dive into a variety of their survey results to provide a preview of the “Future of the Legal Industry.” According to Molly Huie, Bloomberg Law Team Lead of Data Analysis and Surveys, DEI efforts continue to become more significant in the profession, but there is still more to be done. She discusses how the B-word—“belonging”—is an important part of the diversity equation here.

2023 Bootcamp for New Executive Directors, Chicago, IL: March 14
NABE will hold a Bootcamp for new executive directors in conjunction with the CE Retreat on Tuesday, March 14. There is no registration fee to attend. Individuals registering to attend the CE Retreat can add the Bootcamp during registration. If you are not attending the CE Retreat but would like to register to attend the Bootcamp, please contact  Emma Buell.

A Pizza Review Party

The Omaha Bar Association’s Young Lawyers got to play judge at this week’s Pizza Review. It is described as “a gathering of people who want to eat pizza from a number of different pizza shops, and rank/review the pies.” The description adds, “Some may call it just an excuse to eat pizza, but I call it an excuse to eat pizza AND to pass judgment.” Learn more here.
