Two tweets a week, keep you at your peak

The Indiana State Bar Association has added tweets to its program focused on getting Hoosier lawyers to be healthier.

The bar's "Fit to Practice" program is part of a statewide initiative "to promote health and personal well-being among judges, lawyers, their staffs and law students by encouraging positive lifestyle changes through increased physical activity, stress reduction, healthier eating and tobacco cessation," said Carissa Long, director of public relations & social media.

The bar has formed a standing committee on wellness, whose activities include publishing articles on the ISBA website and other publications. Long now sends out two tweets a week, offering fitness tips gathered by the committee. Examples include:

• Consider joining running grp (most vary in talent, experience) for camaraderie, support, accountability!
• Find a way to transition between home & work life to mentally shift gears (e.g., commuting by bike).
