<p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;" class="">Governmental relations professionals from across the country gathered in New Orleans for the <a href="http://www.nabenet.org/event/2014GR">NABE Governmental Relations Section Workshop November 12-14</a>.<span>&nbsp; </span>Registrants heard from representatives of the National Conference of State Legislatures, National Center for State Courts, and Uniform Law Commission, as well as section members providing perspectives on legislative trends in their home states.<span>&nbsp; </span>Professor Ed Chervernak of the University of New Orleans Survey Research Center provided a review of the November elections and what they portend for the future.<span>&nbsp; </span>While in New Orleans, the GR Section Council met to begin planning for next year’s workshop and to develop strategies for the section’s overall operations.<span>&nbsp; </span>Watch for information on the 2015 workshop in February.<span>&nbsp; </span></p>
