Disaster Preparedness for Bar Associations

To draft a plan for your bar or help the attorneys, courts and public recover from a disaster in your community, access the Disaster Recovery Resources for Bar Leaders page developed by the ABA Division for Bar Services. Resources include:
  • Local & State Bar Association Disaster Plans
  • Advice & Guidance for Bar Associations
  • Disaster Planning & the Practice of Law
  • Technology Planning
  • Pandemic Resources
Additional resources are available from the ABA Committee on Disaster Response and Preparedness.
As attorneys in affected areas ramp up their volunteer efforts, of particular interest may be the Allegheny County Bar Association's Disaster Legal Assistance Manual for Volunteer Attorneys which is available here
