In the words of her nominator, Jane Schoenike, former executive director of the Nebraska Bar Association, "Evelyn is a consummate professional, dedicated to the improvement of the Lancaster Bar Association and service to its members." As a member of NABE, Ev has led the organization as its president, served as treasurer, and served on numerous committees.

The Bolton Award is presented annually to a bar executive who epitomizes the highest standard of professional excellence. The Peer Excellence Award is presented to NABE members who have “provided a noteworthy service or significant contribution to NABE.” The 2014 recipients are David Bohm, Assistant Executive Director of the North Carolina Bar Association, and Sayre Happich Ribera, Assistant Director of Communications & PR at the Bar Association of San Francisco. We are making every effort to load our new site with information you need: from news about bar associations and NABE members to the latest developments in technology and legal practice. And if you miss a story, you can find it in an archive. As we move forward in the coming months, we will be creating libraries of useful documents (policies, manuals, statements, and so forth) shared by your colleagues around the country. Of course, you can find details about upcoming programs and past events, learn about our webinars, join sections and participate in their activities, and much, much more.

We are open to suggestions about how to improve the website so it can play a more significant role in your work. Don’t hesitate to let us know what you think and what you’d like to see.

Enormous thanks are due the members of the Website/Knowledge Management Committee for their work in seeing this project through.
